Galena Country Oasis

This client wanted a space to both entertain large groups, but also good for just the family. In the final design, the large space was divided into rooms, creating a patio large enough for parties but also intimate enough for family night. The main focal point of the space is the expansive fireplace on a raised patio with cedar pergola above. Steps down to either side lead to the hammock on one side and the bar/grill area on the other. When the hammock is not up, the lower patio area can accommodate extra seating for larger groups. The use of varying patterns and borders helps define and further separate the open spaces.
