Dublin Pond Overlook

Set high on a hill overlooking a pond and fountain, this project started with an existing deck over a walkout basement and small concrete patio below. The client wanted an enclosed space and a patio large enough to entertain family gatherings. With the use of a dry space system under the deck, we created a screened in porch that tied into materials already on the house. By doing this it becomes part of the house instead of looking like an afterthought. The colorful Travertine patio with built in planters and seat walls remains open through the middle to preserve the view to the pond below. The gas fire pit makes S’mores with the grandchildren fun and easy.
