The Role

Field work on residential design/build and commercial construction projects across Central Ohio: hardscape, planting, and site prep.

$19.22–$25 per hour, based on role, experience, and crew assignment

This is an entry point into field landscape-construction work. Crew members can build experience in hardscape, plant handling, and crew leadership as assignments and openings allow. The work is physical, outdoors, and detail-oriented.

What the Work Includes

  • Work with a crew on landscape-construction projects across Central Ohio properties
  • Support hardscape and structure work: material handling, site prep, drainage, walls, and patios
  • Planting from plans: sod, seed, trees, shrubs, perennials, staking, and mulch
  • Operate powered equipment as trained, including saws, tampers, and sod cutters
  • Care for trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment as if they were your own; weekly tool inventory
  • Winter work available on snow operations for those who want year-round hours

What It Takes

  • Able to work outside through Ohio heat, rain, cold, and snow
  • Reliable: on time, prepared, every day
  • Able to lift and carry landscape materials and work on your feet all day
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Helps, Not Required

  • A year of crew experience, or equivalent time behind real equipment
  • Interest in hardscape and structure work
  • Spanish/English bilingual
