Commercial landscape and pedestrian lighting after dark

Commercial Landscape Lighting in Central Ohio

Low-voltage lighting for entrances, signs, walks, steps, courtyards, and landscape planting.

Lighting for Entrances, Signs and Walks

A commercial property is judged after the sun goes down as much as in daylight: by residents coming home, employees leaving late and visitors finding the entrance for the first time. Lighting keeps signs readable, walks safe and outdoor common areas in use through half the property's hours.

Peabody designs and installs low-voltage LED lighting for entries, monument signs, walkways, courtyards, gathering areas and planting across Central Ohio. On new construction, sleeves and wire runs go in with the site work rather than trenching through finished ground later.

On maintained properties the crew already on site checks the lighting on the regular service visit: failed lamps, tilted fixtures and grown-over beams get caught before the account has to call. Every account has a named lead, and calls and emails come back within 48 hours, in February the same as in May.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is commercial lighting installed with the landscape or separately?

Either. On new construction, wire routes and sleeves can be coordinated with the landscape work. Existing properties require a review of fixture locations, power, routes, and finished surfaces.

Who maintains the lighting after installation?

On maintained properties, lighting checks fold into the regular service program. On lighting-only accounts, seasonal service visits cover cleaning, aiming, lamp replacement, and timer changes.

What about energy and lamp costs?

Modern systems are low-voltage LED. Conversions of older fixtures reduce operating cost and cut the lamp-replacement cycle that keeps older systems half-dark.

How does lighting connect to site safety?

Lighting can improve visibility at walks, steps, grade changes, and entrances. It does not replace code-required building, emergency, or security lighting, which should be handled by the appropriate electrical and design professionals.
