The Role

Lead a maintenance route on residential and commercial properties across Central Ohio.

$25–$33 per hour, based on experience and crew assignment

Maintenance crew leaders turn the day’s route into finished work. We look for people who check the property before they leave, train the crew, and communicate site issues early.

What the Work Includes

  • Lead a field crew on daily maintenance routes across residential and commercial properties
  • Own the day's plan: route order, quality, safety, and closeout
  • Walk each property before the crew starts and check the work before you leave
  • Run mowing, pruning, edging, bed care, mulching, and seasonal cleanups to our standard
  • Complete daily timesheets, field reports, and required photos
  • Keep equipment checked, greased, fueled, and loaded for the next stop
  • Communicate clearly with the office, the client on site, and the crew
  • Train crew members on the work and equipment they are assigned

What It Takes

  • 3+ years of field landscape maintenance experience, or a horticulture/landscape degree with crew time
  • Working knowledge of turf, bed, and plant care practices
  • Valid driver's license; able to drive medium-duty trucks with a trailer
  • Comfortable running mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment
  • Able to communicate site issues before they become client complaints
  • Comfortable working outside through all four Ohio seasons

Helps, Not Required

  • Fertilizer/herbicide application experience
  • Snow operations experience
  • Spanish/English bilingual
