Project Narrative

How this project comes together

What the site needed

This commercial site has to work from several distances: the street view, the pedestrian approach, the courtyard edge, and the spaces where people actually sit and move through the property.

How the build answers it

Brick paving, stone walls, lawn panels, tree rows, railings, and planting beds give the site a finished public face while keeping the walks open and durable.

Location: Columbus, OH
Division: Commercial Construction
Focus: Commercial Streetscape & Courtyard
Project Type: Commercial streetscape, courtyard, and landscape installation

Scope

Commercial landscape installation
Brick streetscape and pedestrian paving
Stone walls, piers, and grade edges
Lawn panels and tree planting
Railings, benches, and public seating edges
Planting beds and mulch transitions

Design Notes

The wide street view establishes the building, paving, walls, and planting as one commercial frontage instead of separate site elements.
Stone walls and piers organize the grade changes and create edges for seating, lawn, and walks.
Tree rows and lawn panels soften the brick and stone while keeping the walks open.
Railings, benches, and paved courts make the public edges usable without cluttering the site.
