Project Narrative

How this project comes together

What the site needed

This community entry has to make a strong first impression from the road while staying polished at the slower pace of residents, guests, and maintenance crews moving through the entrance.

How the build answers it

Stone monument signage, terraced retaining walls, evergreen structure, ornamental grasses, and seasonal color give the entry a clear identity. The planting stays layered so the entrance feels established without hiding the sign or wall work.

Location: Dublin, OH
Division: Commercial Construction
Focus: Community Entry & Seasonal Color
Project Type: Community entry landscape, monument signage, and seasonal planting

Scope

Community entry landscape installation
Stone monument signage and entry piers
Terraced retaining walls and grade transitions
Seasonal annual color displays
Evergreen, shade tree, shrub, and ornamental grass planting
Mulched beds and roadway-facing landscape edges

Design Notes

The stone sign and piers anchor the entry while the planting keeps the monument from feeling isolated in the lawn.
Terraced walls organize the grade and create a layered backdrop for shrubs, trees, and seasonal color.
Bright annuals are concentrated at the road-facing edge where they can be read quickly from passing traffic.
Evergreens, grasses, and low shrubs add year-round structure after the annual color fades.
